Associates of Biblical Studies Degree (ABS) -- 20 classes

This is the entry level for beginning students. Summit Bible College does not have a lower program. All 20 classes are required unless the student has transfer classes in theology, the humanities, or if they have equivalent ministry experience.

Ministry experience and college transfer credit (theological and most secular), may equal up to 50% credit toward the ABS program, but there is no change in fees. Or if a student has more credit than the 50% allowable, they may qualify for an Associates / Bachelor concurrent program where two degrees are awarded when the higher degree is completed.

If you think you qualify for the Associates / Bachelor concurrent program, send us your transcripts with your application and download a ministry experience sheet from our web site if you ministry experience you want to credit. Fill out the form thoroughly, including your total hours and email or mail it to us with your application.

Note: You may begin at any time but the classes are only offered in the quarters below. All dates are approximates. The amount of classes you take is at your own pace. We suggest two at a time, initially. Classwork is due 2 weeks after the quarter ends. If you are a new student, starting in the middle of the quarter, you will be given an extra quarter to complete your work.

Note: It is possible that the student with no prior credits could complete an ABS degree within one year if the student took a full load of five (5) classes per quarter.
