Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I know if you have looked at Summit Bible College’s web site (www.summitbiblecollege.com), you have seen that it is a worthy endeavor, and you have noticed its uniqueness. Yes, we are different in several ways! We established Summit on principles that would help people get a Degree in Christian studies, preparing them quickly and effectively.

Our curriculum is the only one of its kind, and is based on thoroughness and quality. Each class has a text from a leading fundamental Christian minister: authorities in their respective fields of ministry. I’m proud of the fact that we designed our classes using books authored by well-known, proven ministers, such as: George Barna, and John Maxwell on leadership, H. Norman Wright, Gary Collins and Neil T. Anderson on Christian Counseling, and Bruce Milne, Norm Geisler and Bruce Shelley on Christian Studies. It is truly the most exciting, and best program of its kind in the world!

Each undergraduate student takes courses from all facets of Christian service: counseling, pastoral, worship leadership, missionary/evangelism, and support ministries. It is the true Christian “General Education Degree” in Theology! Our goal is to train capable ministers to serve the world and local community in all facets of ministry. We are equipping Ministers to have an awareness of the key issues of our times: the homeless, the hungry, the lonely, the lost, the oppressed, and the sick.

Summit is applicable to today’s issues, combining timely classes and required ministry experience for credit, making ministry education more comprehensive. Issues such as wide spread social maladjustment, euthanasia, genetic engineering, and epidemic abortion, were not even imagined 40 years ago. They are realities today! Our program gives the prospective minister knowledge and working experience in dealing with these complex problems by crediting ministry practicums that give confidence to “produce fruit”, and commit to service for our Lord Jesus—whether full or part-time.

Moreover, Summit Bible College was founded on the precepts that quality Christian college education must be affordable, must be attainable, and must be accomplished through a “fast track” method. Why was Summit Bible College established on these factors? Our Board determined in 1996 that contemporary Christian theological education must be mindful of what Jesus told us would happen in our day and what He commanded us to do in regard to those specific prophecies. Jesus said, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached to the whole world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Mt. 24.14) Look at current world events; it is our urgent calling to make preparation for ministry affordable and time-sensitive. SBC’s prices are low, the “fast track” beneficial and our relevancy is high.

Don’t delay, hearken to our Lord’s call: “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” Jn 4:35 

My beloved brothers and sisters, if you are called to serve the Lord, enroll and get started, now! If you can not be a student at this time, be a part of our team by supporting Summit Bible College with your prayers and by giving a monthly donation, or a large offering for our building fund! If you cannot do either of these things, please recommend us to someone who could use our services!
