Accreditation

Summit Bible College is registered and authorized by the Bureau of Postsecondary Education of the State of California to issue degrees in theological education. We are a member of the Apostolic Council on Educational Accountability (see their website at: http://www.acea-schools.org/). We are 501(3)(c) tax exempt IRS not-for-profit organization.

Summit Bible College is also pursuing federal accreditation. At this time we are affiliated with the ABHE (Association For Biblical Higher Education - formerly known as the AABC). The ABHE is recognized by the Department of Education as a National Accreditation Agency. This is a lengthy process which we will finalize as soon as possible.

We have had our degrees approved by several denominations and churches, and as far as we know we have never had our degrees denied by any Christian ministry. Check on your ministry needs for accreditation. Our degrees have been accepted by most church organizations, and Christian colleges, too. Some secular institutions and universities have accepted the earned degrees for our alumnus as Professors and for several secular positions. Check with your prospective employer or college.

Above all, we are standing on the following scripture, as God's approval for what we do:

So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

Why we feel we are approved of God?

1. We rely on the Word of God, the consistency of the historical Christian church, and with the confirmation of the Holy Spirit through the fruit of the work.

2. Each student must research the Bible for each course and is accountable to defend the truth of their answers as they line up with the Word of God. We stand by the authority of the Word of God, and we expect our students to be able to stand on that integrity, also.

3. Our curriculum is based on the biblical teachings of the authors listed below, who are godly men and women. We use approved, conservative texts, which may be found in any Fundamental, Evangelistic, God-fearing, Christian bookstore.

Summit Bible College Objectives are as follows

1. To promote the opportunity for students to gain knowledge in the Word of God.

2. To help the students effectively apply the Word of God in their lives, in their ministry and to the community at large by teaching them practical means of doing so.

3. To provide experiences that give students a substantial degree of expertise in preparing for their chosen area of ministry.

4. To maintain a close liaison with the churches and other ministries to determine a need for the development of new instructional programs.

5. To provide a practical method of acquiring a comprehensive degree in a field of ministry.

6. To help our students obtain licenses and ordination to minister for Christ and become registered with support organizations.
